Louise has been teaching botanical art for over fifteen years at the University of Washington Botanic Gardens, Gage Academy of Art, and elementary schools, among other venues. She will join the faculty at the University of Washington Natural Science Illustration certificate program this spring.

Beginning Botanical Watercolor Class
Lakewold Gardens, Tacoma, WA
March 2 - April 20 & March 3 - April 21
Botanical artist, Louise Smith will lead students in a step by step fashion to introduce the skills for creation of botanical art. The class is geared to the novice but is appropriate to all levels. Classes will take place in the Sunroom and will be offered at two time slots: Track 1 on Mondays from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm or Track 2 on Tuesdays from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm.
